Vice President of Education, South Bank Students’ Union,July 2024 – June 2025
This was a full-time elected sabbatical role representing all LSBU students. I acted as an advisor to senior university leaders and contributed to key committees including the Academic Board, Student Experience Committee, Quality and Standards Committee, and the Union Council. My work focused on education policy, student experience, and ensuring student perspectives shaped strategic decisions across the university.
Key Achievements:
During this time, I led the Personal Tutor Support campaign, which reached more than 7,000 students and helped improve access to academic and personalised support. I also worked to embed the Student Voice Tracker more effectively within LSBU’s academic structure, contributing to better outcomes in the National Student Survey.
Another focus of my role was the Placement Handbook Project for nursing and allied health students, which supported clearer guidance and stronger preparation for professional placements. Throughout the year, I consulted more than 120 course representatives to identify industry-focused opportunities, with the findings helping to shape updates to LSBU’s Career Hub strategy. My committee work ensured that student perspectives were consistently represented at senior levels and that decisions were informed by real feedback from across the university.

Director (Trustee), South Bank Students’ Union (SBSU), November 2022 – June 2025
Member of the Board of Trustees for a registered charity with 30 employees and a seven-figure budget.
Key Achievements:
As a Trustee, I contributed to the governance of a registered charity responsible for student representation and services across LSBU. I supported strategic planning, reviewed budgets, and helped oversee financial and risk management to ensure the Union remained effective, transparent, and aligned with its long-term goals. My responsibilities also included reviewing policies, helping strengthen governance processes, and taking part in key organisational decisions.
This role gave me the opportunity to work alongside senior staff and external partners, contributing to discussions that shaped the direction of the organisation. I also represented the Union at a number of university and public events, helping build connections that supported both student engagement and community relationships.

Student Operations Intern, London South Bank University (LSBU), May 2025 – July 2025.
Key Achievements:
During my internship with the Student Operations team, I supported essential administrative processes that keep the university running smoothly. I worked with systems such as QL and Kali to update student records, process enrolment changes, and ensure the accuracy of official documents, including transcripts and certificates. I also handled student enquiries through Salesforce, providing clear and timely responses and helping maintain a high standard of service across the department.
The role gave me valuable insight into how academic and support teams work together behind the scenes. I contributed to improvements in workflow and gained practical experience in data management, communication, and the delivery of student services in a busy university environment.

Student Ambassador, London South Bank University (LSBU), January 2022 – Present
Key Achievements:
As a Student Ambassador, I supported a variety of recruitment and outreach activities, from open days and campus tours to school visits and guidance events. I welcomed prospective students and their families, answered questions, and helped them gain a clear understanding of the support and opportunities available at LSBU. I also worked with the marketing and communications team on student-focused content, helping create a positive and informative experience for future applicants.
